I/O- Shield taps problem

Is it safe to use shield that don't have all metal taps?Some of them are bent and cut off.Will it cause some problems on grounding and brake my hardware? Sorry my English is quite bad.

You can get by without all of the metal tabs, but I would want at least 50% of them to be on the I/O shield for grounding purposes.
