As the title says my new first build beeps every 5 seconds as it does the CPU fan has a little flick and as this happens the pc turns off and on at the same time the beeps happen.

The DRAM LED light never turns on ive tried waiting and holding the button for a while and nada.

My GPU isn't the problem because yesterday the same thing happened with it inside and this time I didn't put it in and same results.

On PCPartPicker all the parts were compatible. Could it be my PSU is too weak?

Build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/BrT3Jx

Sidenote: If I look at other's completed builds on pcpartpicker they have the same ram, mobo, gpu and their's works but not mine. :(

what isn't working? I don't understand what your problem is. You built a new PC and it never worked?

If it never booted, strip it to essentials: PSU, Motherboard, CPU, CPU cooler, 1 stick of RAM and try to boot from integrated graphics; don't plug anything else in

Yea the beep every 3 seconds and the turning on and off every 3 seconds as well. It never worked. I checked the cpu and the thermal paste was good on it and the pins looked fine to me. I tried different ram also but I dont know if thats out of the picture because neither would light up the DRAM LED not green nor red.

Ok I just tried unplugging the dvd drive and left the 1 ssd and the hdd plugged in to both the psu and sata connectors and if I dont have the dvd drive plugged in instead of beeping it clicks.

Remove The cpu cooler and make sure that all the pins are properly aligned. It will be easy to see if one or more of the pins are mis aligned..should this be the case then your motherboard is damaged. Also only plug in the ssd at this stage not both. Connect the other drive later. Also build the system outside of the case maybe on the motherboard box. Just is case you have a short.
