Does it really matter which Z motherboard do I get to overclock the CPU i7 4790k to 4.7 to 5.0 speed?

Hey
So I'm just thinking that maybe ill get the i7 4790k but If I will I won't have any more money to spend beacuse ill also then probably buy 980 ti and PSU and Monitor CPU cooler... so I'm thinking to OC that CPU to 4.7-5.0 speed so I will need Z motherboard with not tiny VRMs and good audio. So ive seen alot of z97 mobos they are z97 ,z97s z97x...So does it really matter which one you get?you can get that speed (4.7-5.0)with almost any Z mobo right?Or does it need to be more exspensive MOBO to gain that OC?
Thanks

Solution
It needs to be a motherboard with with a good true VRM power phase count that will handle the high voltages well.

Gigabyte Z97X Gaming 5 has 8 true VRM power phases which is very good.

yeah well I wouldn't go over 1.3V if possible by VRM I meant VRM Heatsinks Rams would be at 1333mhz speed so it would let CPU to take better OC anyway ram speed doesn't really matter only very very very little CPU speed is more needed thats what I think

You are extremely unlikely to hit above 4.7GHz with any type of cooling save for liquid nitrogen or helium. These chips just don't respond well to high voltages/clocks unless you can keep them REALLY cool, cooler than what even a good water loop can do. 5GHz is a pipe dream for a constant, stable overclock. Finding a chip that could do that with reasonable voltage+temps would be like winning the lottery.

well I would get more out of gtx 980 ti OCed if I would get i7 4790k 4.7. Saw a video from youtube from one guy that had i7 3770 non k with 4.2 speed (oced with motherboard support that doesn't need K CPU to overclock) and upgraded to i7 4790k 4.7 and he got really nice increase in performance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ikg-Nkb3ug
