I have just ordered my first SSD:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00M8ABCZM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00

And due to not ever having to install an SSD before I thought it would be easier and simpler just do a clean install of an operating system on this SSD rather than trying to copy over the current Win8 as I haven't for a while anyway.

As a gamer (Steam games, the odd emulation game, and League of Legends) what would be the best OS to install at this point in time?

Windows 7 - Been a while since I used this, I loved Win7, however I don't know if its currently up to the speeds of Win8 or not?

Windows 8 - Is currently installed, but not too much of a fan of it, I have installed StartDock8 etc to avoid having to use its 'tiles' features

Windows 10 - I can imagine due to it only just being released, it wont have ANY support for it for the time being from programs?

So what should I install to be able to do so? (Price isnt a factor, I have a master copy of all Win7 all versions and a Copy of standard Win8

(Due to my opinions of the OS's I'm not necessarily asking which is nicer, more if newer games will support Windows 7, or would I be screwing myself over by doing that?)

I am a huge fan of windows 7, much better then windows 8 (personal preference) but Windows 8 (8.1) is better for gaming, as in the future, games may have compatibility issues, so as much as I don't want to say it, Windows 8.1 is probably the best for gaming, until Windows 10 comes out.
