That GT 730 should be fully compatible with Pavilion P7-1203 motherboard (One PCI Express x16 (Gen2.0)).

Unless you run into some form of interoperability quirk, PCIe will automatically negotiate the best possible speed both endpoints are capable of and you should not have to worry about it.
