Hi guys..i was just wondering what's better and more important for me.
I'm thinking of getting an i7, or getting an i5 with an SSD.
I primarily use my PC for gaming, maybe some other every-day stuff and streaming.
So what would be a better option for me?

My other specs are: Gtx 970, 8GB Kingston DDR3 1333MHz (4x2GB), Msi z97 Gaming 7 Motherboard, Western Digital Caviar Black WD 1002FAEX, OCZ ModXStream Pro 600W, Thermaltake Dokker case

So..i just want to know if an SSD is necessary for my usage on the PC.

I'll appreciate every comment and help, thanks guys! :)

Solution
Basically if you dont want to overclock the xeon is a fine choice. If you plan on overclocking the i7 is the better choice.

So before i had only an HDD, so i suppose everything is placed on it (including OS, programs, games etc.)
So how can i store my OS or something else on SSD..from my HDD to the possible new SSD?

I think the i7 doesn't have any real performance benifit for the GTX 970. The i5 has enough PCIE lanes to support it and the only thing where the i7 will jump ahead is video rendering/casting the livestream. If you were watching it it wouldn't be much of a concern!

But with gaming, i'm also looking for a good build than can handle casting a livestream..so is the i7 going to be a better choice for that than the i5?
I mean...i can always add the SSD later.
Also it doesn't hurt if i get more power i guess...correct me if i'm wrong please ;)

Right now im using windows 7, but i was planing to upgrade to 8.1 later, so i would need to reinstall it anyhow..but just with the new SSD when i buy it later..
I'm going to buy this cooler: cooler master hyper 212 evo
I think it's good enough for overclocking
Well..in the xeon cpu case, what cpu would you reccommend me?

Well sure, you can send me the list. But in comparison with the 4790k and this xeon e3-1231 v3, which one is better and why?
I'm really planning to buy a good cpu right now, so i don't need to upgrade it in the next few years.
