Cannot get a display

I got a used motheboard(Foxconn A6GMV AM3 AMD 690G ) i put all the components i turned it on the fans move the button lights up but it displays nothing i used VGA and HDMI. Please help!

make sure the 4 pin cpu power plug is conencted. pull the gpu see if onboard video works. make sure the mb sitting on top of the ground screws and not shorted out. try the mb outside the case see if it posts there.

I took the cmos battery out and left it for about 10 mins put it back in and got a display. Thank you for all the help though!
