Nvidia Gtx 960 vs gtx 770

Hi there
What do you think would be better to but around these days: gtx 960 or gtx 770. Main purpose is gaming and i think i will OC them. Gtx 770 seems to be a better option but with directx 12 coming out with Windows 10 i'm not so sure anymore. Of course i'm going to buy non-reference version so it may have a little impact on OC.

The 770 does a bit better than the 960 in older titles but uses a lot more power. The 960 tends to have a bit of an edge in newer titles due to Nvidia Gameworks optimizations that Kepler doesn't seem to get. The 960 might be a slightly better long term choice as it does have full DirectX 12 support, but if you can get the 770 for a good deal cheaper then that's also a good option, it's still a decent card.
