My PC is running slow despite the fact that it has low memory usage, disk usage, and cpu usage - all less than 50%. I do have a lot of programs open though, but the memory usage is low? These include Photoshop, chrome, 360 total security. I am currently scanning my PC, I have two internal hard drives and one external hard drive. Usually Photoshop's performance is fine, however chrome occasionally displays: Not responding. Usually if I want to speed up the computer, I have to end the chrome task.
My system components are as follows:
CPU: AMD FX-8320
Motherboard: Asus M5A97 R2.0
RAM: 8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport DDR3-1600
Storage: 3 Hard drives: 2 internal and 1 external
GPU: MSI Radeon R9 270
PSU: EVGA 500W ATX Power Supply
Operating System: Windows 8.1
My secondary internal hard drive is almost full (I am unsure if that makes a difference to my system's performance).
