I am confused, should i buy GTX 960 2gb or 4gb. See i have money to buy 2gb one right now but if i wait till November i will have the money to buy 4gb one but have to wait till november. Should i wait till November for 4gb one or i should buy 2gb one right now. Will 2gb one be able to serve my gaming need at 1080p for next 4 years or not.

4 years? This is a long time in gaming business...

Its like the 4770 512MB. Great med range gpu at launch.
After some years 512MB was really bad. But then the 4770 was bad too :D

Get the GTX 960-2gb. In some years 2GB will be really bad. As bad as the gpu itself.

Both the 960s will play games for the next 4 years just fine at 1080p. Maybe not on the highest possible settings, but still in the high range. Buy the 2g version, there isn't enough difference right now to justify the price difference between the 2g and 4g.

It's also worth noting that modern GPUs like the 960 will last longer than older cards did in their day, with DX 12 coming out and all.

Everything about this statement is wrong on so many levels....

"the 960 doesn't have the power to move enough pixels around to need 4GB."

Not only does this make no sense, but if you're implying that the GTX 960 "cant use 4g of ram" for whatever reason has been dis-proven so many times it's not even funny anymore.

It will last 4 years just fine. If by last you mean play games and be operational for the next 4 years.

More than anything, textures eat up the most Vram.

Perfect example

GTA V has an artificial limiter in the settings menu that measures how much Vram is being used. Take the textures past medium and you're already past the 2g Vram mark and it won't let you save the settings.

My buddy's GTX 760 2g run GTA V on all very high settings, except the textures which are stuck on medium. Now with a 4G GTX 960 you can crank up almost all the settings and be fine, well not the super flashy "advanced" ones.
