Psu (Power Supply Unit) HELP!

Hi Im thinking of getting a new PSU for my Computer I just dont know what to upgrade to. I know there is many diffrent kinds of PSU out there but i dont know which one fits my PC my Proccesor is 3.8 GHz FX-4300 Graphics Card I have a Radeon R7 270X Current PSU i haver a ATX-tl500W-BK Also i need a some what cheap PSU any suggestions?"

NEVER buy a cheap PSU. It is the single most important part of the PC.

ANtec, XFX, Seasonic, EVGA (G2,B2,GS) are what you want. Get 650w. This will allow you to upgrade to pretty much any GPU.

Also I have another question do all PSU work on anycomputer? Or do i need to do research to see if my computer can use it

Get yourself a quality power supply. There is a Power Supply List kept here on Toms that ranks power supplies by quality. We recommend that people only buy a power supply that is listed as Tier 1 or Tier 2. I also will add that any Seasonic or XFX power supply should also be considered be in Tier 1 or 2, even if the model is not on that listing.
