My CPU is an i7 4790K. I installed a Corsair H100i Yesterday and noticed that when I used intel burn test to bench it, Temps (In Corsair Link) Were jumping from 60 down to 45, staying there for a second, then jumping back up to 60. Is this a hardware or a software problem?

Will Do. I just noticed that when I ran P95 Small FFTS I was getting into the 70's. I don't think this is normal for no overclock.

Yeah, and it shouldn't jump that far. Are you using stock thermal paste or aftermarket? Too much of that won't help either.

Using stock preapplied thermal paste. Do I need to get new thermal paste inorder to reseat the cooler?

I just found out you are not supposed to use P95 for Haswell benching because it overvolts the CPU. I will be testing with IETU and will see. I will still be reseating the cooler tho, once therm compound gets here.

You can use it, but if you do then only use version 26.6 or earlier.

If anyone on this thread bothered to look through the Stickies, then you obviously missed this one:
