I put in a DVD, nothing happened so I checked the drive and it didn't show anything. I ejected and no DVD. How can I retrieve this DVD? I saw where one answer was to unscrew a panel, if someone could elaborate on that, I'd appreciate it.
the disk will still be in the drive as the drive is fully enclosed. pick the computer up so that the drive while still open is facing downwards but with the computer turned off & give it a slight shake so that the disk will drop out of the drive onto the desk or floor.
as the all-in 1 computers use laptop parts except for screens, the dvd drive is the same used in laptop so the drive's face plat has a hole near the button for a straightened paperclip to pop open the drive.

I can open the drive. The DVD is missing so must be inside the computer? Is there a way of retrieving it? Or does the paperclip make it possible to pull the drive out? Sorry, I've only owned desktop computers, this is actually my sister's computer.
I opened the drive and in looking, saw the DVD, it was pushed in. I was able to get it out. Ok then, next time I know to snap the DVD in the drive. Thanks for your help, I'll click your reply as the solution.
