Good day all,

I was wondering if there's any idea about Asrock releasing Windows 10 drivers for my mobo Asrock Z77 Pro4. Or shouldn't there be any problems upgrading to Windows 10 with the 8.1 drivers?

Given the number of people posting questions and trying to ensure 10 installs, I would imagine there isn't an easy to find answer. Check Asrock's site to see if they have pushed out any new drivers. I would imagine there wouldn't be an issue, but again, check the site and maybe browse through their support forums and see if someone there has asked the same question already.

I indeed did check Asrock's website and my mobo still only has the Windows 8.1 drivers uploaded there. I just asked on the Asrock's forum (didn't know it had one) so I guess I'd have to wait..

like said above no matter what drivers ''you '' want windows will overwrite them to what '' they '' want [so it seems ] I see this with 8 as well guys install drivers and windows decides it not what it wants and changes it ... ???

I guess all you 10 guys will Guiney pig all this out . and report a thread here at toms on why ..

Someone at Asrock's forum told me he upgraded to Windows 10 on a similar mobo and he got a lot of issues, one of them being the network card not functioning anymore..

Asrock should really cover this..

looking at 10 and that forced updating it maybe overwriting ''your'' driver choices ?? did you read that InfoWorld article or ones like it ??

looks like Microsoft decides whats best for you and you don't get to much say so .. its like your personal computer is now a public computer ??

I don't know , I just cant see giving up that much control of my computer to a 3ed party like that to start with ? [opinion]

I don't get how folks get so blinded by the hype and find themselves out of the fry pan and into the fire ??

see it here everyday - all you see was dx12 this dx12 that - now lets whine about the rest of this after the fact .. funny xp vista and 7 still work here with out issues ?? and nothing forced on me , I decide

did you look at this ?? maybe go to intel for the board drivers ??

loks like they got drivers for mine ?

one thing I see now is a lot of companys seem to be flat leaving there older stuff - if its not recent its not getting supported anymore - I noticed this with some of my stuff - like amd is getting bad at it ..

I'm afraid they'll ignore relatively old mobo's like mine. I guess waiting is the only solution here if Asrock doesn't announce anything.

I just checked the motherboards list on Asrock and noticed that all Z77, H77, H61 and B75 motherboards don't have drivers for Windows 10. They're all gathered in 1 table. All the other tables above it seem to have Windows 10 drivers. Makes me think they're ignoring these series from now on. See here: http://www.asrock.com/mb/index.asp?s=Current

well good luck with that and the forced updates and the security issues like I said your personal pc is now a public pc .. I hope you the best when that botched windows update your forced to take screws things up well that's too bad so sad for you, then what ?? -- at least with 7 I can decline them or uninstall them and hide them you cant according to the agreement with 10 . just postpone once you got to be nuts to accept something like that
