recently bought a prebuilt desktop so i can have a work station to handle the stuff i was running on my laptop. here are the specs when is bought

16 gb 2 of 8 gb corsair vengeance
FX 9590 8 CORE 4.7 ghz 5.0 ghz turbo
2 Tb hdd 7200 rpm 64 mb cache
7 fans total for extra cooling
Rom drive blu ray disc playback
ASRock fatallty 990FX killer AM3 + gaming motherboard
CORSAIR Hydro H100i extreme water CPU cooler
Rosewill THRONE -G window Gunmetal gaming ATX FULL tower
Nvidia gtx 750 ti 2 gb ddr5

but it was running windows 8.1 and most of the applications i was using were not compatible. but i kept windows 8 on and updated the the drivers and everything to current releases. downloaded the asrock app utility and updated the drivers for the mobo and it worked fine booted and shutdown with ease.. until i decided to roll back to windows 7 cause i dislike windows 8. get to windows 7 its just base windows 7 so i start the updating process with the asrock utility and it downloaded to bios installed it and restarted the computer into the AMERICAN MEGATREND bios screen with the f2/del to run setup, f11 to boot. but after pressing DEL the screen reappears saying "cpu not on supported cpu list" and my keyboard becomes unresponsive

i tried resetting the bios by removing the mobo battery but it boots into the same screen as previously stated

which puzzle me cause before the downgrade it was running fine. cpu-z and HWmonitor read the CPU and it was working fine under stress test. i guess update 1,40 has a error maybe i'll try to rollback to 1.30
