I have a phenom II x4 955 be and I recently upgraded my GPU to gtx750ti.
But the thing is that I have a old mobo that supports ddr2 memory.
So would I see noticeably performance drops in ddr2 over ddr3.
Will the memory bottleneck my CPU and GPU?

You can have DDR3 kits that perform worse than DDR2. Example: DDR3-1066CL7 is not as good as DDR2-1066CL5. Also DDR3-1333CL9 is very mediocre, as well as the DDR3-1600CL11 generic crap. Those just wouldn't be worth it if you already have some DDR2-800CL4 or better.
For Phenom II 955, DDR2 1066CL5 is very good for gaming. The best RAM I have seen run with that CPU was DDR3-1600CL6. All of those low latency kits that worked so well with Phenom II are hard to find nowadays.

For an even better boost, tune your CPU NB as high as you can (typically 2600-2800MHz for that CPU).

Yes one of my favorite times was the Phenom II era. I must have went through a dozen of them, benching, overclocking, ect. I miss my 955, and I miss my 1090T even more...
