Is Intel Core i7-4790K Devil’s Canyon Quad-Core 4.0GHz a good CPU for the price of 349.99?

Hello, I am currently building a new PC. I am building it for casual gaming and day to day use. I was wondering if the Intel Core i7-4790K Devil’s Canyon Quad-Core 4.0GHz is a good investment. Thanks!

The i7 will have no problem at all doing all that, but something like the i5 4690k will get the job done just as well.
unless you are in video editing or something you won't benefit from the hyperthreading the i7 has.

The main games I will be playing are League of Legends, CSGO, BF4, Star Wars Nights of the Old Republic. These are the main games I play, but I will also be playing games such as Witcher3, Dota2, and Star Wars Battlefront.

It's a great CPU, but that's a horrible price. I just got one 2 weeks ago at Microcenter in Cambridge, MA for $280. http://www.microcenter.com/product/434176/Core_i7-4790K_40GHz_LGA_1150_Boxed_Processor. If you don't live near a Microcenter, even with any shipping charges it would still be a lot less than that.
