The cpu and gpu will be great for gaming.
However, the problem with most prebuild systems is that components like psu ram mobo will be very cheap.

you say you don't know where to start with building.
it all comes down to picking the right parts, the building itself is not difficult at all.
Just use a build guide from youtube.

Here is a list of components to get you in the right direction:

Not terribly priced, but I also find pleasure in building my own rig. It might even be cheaper especially when places like Microcenter and Frys (Southwest US) exist. I am more of a 'print out deals online and make stores price match' so I can get the cheapest possible deal I can.

All in all it isn't a bad set up... Just I prefer the fun and trial and error that goes into building a PC.

I can understand being intimidated by the prospect of building your own. It is easy to say its easy when you are used to doing it but for a first time it might be a little terrifying so I would say go for the one you found at Walmart. it looks good. If you don't feel confident replacing that Power supply when purchase the unit I listed ant take it to a local shop to swap it out for you. They should be able to do something like that in no time flat. Hell if you are in the midwest USA drop me message here and I can hook you up.
