I built a PC about a month ago. At the time everything seemed to okay with it, except the bios splash screen would take a good 15 to 30 seconds to show up after turning on the computer.
But recently a new issue has come up.
I have 8 8GB sticks of DDR4 installed in this computer, so 64GB. I noticed Windows said I only 48GB, so I checked the bios and it said the two slots were missing ram (The 3rd and 4th slots over) I switched two sticks of RAM around, and checked the bios again. This time there is now six RAM slots with nothing there and I also got a message that there is a CPU cooler error.
Would this be a motherboard issue?
Everything is still under warranty, but I want to make sure I get the right part fixed.
Thank you.
