Hi,

I was wondering if i can use these 3 RAM modules together
(and if there'd be a performance improvement without stressing the other components):

KVR1333D3N9/4G x 2
KVR1333D3N9/8G x 1

My MB is: msi z97-guard protection
CPU is: i5-4690
GPU is: msi GTX 560Ti Hawk TF III

I'm hoping this will help with photoshop, 3d modelling software & video editing.

O temple of tech gods, i consult thee!

Solution
Try the 4GB sticks in the slots closest to the CPU(1-2) and the 8GB in slot 3 - that puts 8GB in each channel for Dual channel mode, and as mentioned, no guarantee they will play, if they don't give a shout and we can try some adjustments

You should be able to use them.
If it will give you a performance boost is another question that you'll have to answer yourself.

I'd suggest running a system intensive render, or several, with your current setup, noting the required runtime. Then install the RAM (reference your motherboard user manual and make sure the two 4Gb modules are in the primary sockets (Channel A?) and the 8 Gb module in one of the leftover sockets.
Hope your PC boots, rerun the tests, and compare the results.
