Your graphics is...not good. Upgrade that if you want to see improvement.

Your PC should be able to play those games on low settings. If you are trying to run on high or ultra graphics settings, you are going to have problems. Try turning down your settings to as low as possible.

Another 4gb ram & a new GPU - the 250 is OK for low settings only - your ram is probably the priority IMO.

For high settings, you will need to upgrade your CPU (the 6300 is not good for gaming), RAM, and GPU, and probably your motherboard and power supply. Basically, a whole new build in order to achieve high setting performance on games.

^ nothing wrong with the 6300 - I'm running GTA 5 near maxed out & also arkham knight maxed at 40-60fps .
He needs more ram & a better GPU ,.

^ I can now safely say you have no idea what you're talking about.
He said he'd be happy at high settings 30fps - he needs a new GPU & ram upgrade - nothing more.
The only game a stock 6300 would struggle to maintain a constant fps of over 40 would be arma 3.

No one is arguing whether or the the FX-6300 is good or not. For the price, it's probably your best option if you intend to OC it.

However, the worst thing in his rig is his graphics card. Well, it's probably his PSU but the worst thing LISTED, is his graphics card. For $200 he could get a 750Ti, a new PSU, another 4GB of RAM and and Hyper 212 Evo so he can OC the nuts off that AMD. For $250, he MIGHT be able to get a 280.
