just have batteries at your desk in case it dies and its a lot nicer because you don't have to worry about the cable getting in the way. and if you don't get a crappy one, you shouldn't notice the latency whatsoever

Do not use wireless mice if you plan on being good at the game. Wireless mice such as the Mamba and Sensei Wireless have less lag than regular wireless yet the lag is significant when playing intense games such as csgo. I bought a Logitech g502 and love it
