REMOVING GRUB Bootloader

Looking to prepare a laptop for resale, but I had a Linux-Win8.1 dual boot set up.

So I first booted into Windows, deleted the relevant partitions (1GB Recovery, 100MB, 688GB, 8.89GB Recovery remain).

Then I booted Windows from a Windows Install Disk, went to Command prompt, and ran

bootrec.exe /fixmbr

And then restarted the computer.

Now I boot the system with Secure Boot ON, it takes me to the Grub loader (with nothing but command line).

I can type "exit" and it will move on to the Windows 8.1 install I have running.

How can I remove the boot loader? The solution I tried above still leaves it, and I'm not particularly well versed in GRUB.

Thanks.

Is your disk MBR partitioned or is it GPT? From the number of partitions I suspect it is GPT.

Rather than messing about with the MBR or Linux tools I would use Windows recovery options to repair the disk. EasyBCD, as suggested by mc962, is an excellent tool to ease this process.
