In the middle of mild gaming yesterday just got an abrupt blank screen, PC didnt shut down it just ran with no screen display. When I try to start the pc all fans run fine on start up and I can power it up with the power button on the case( strangley the reset button doesnt work on the case). When it powers up there is no post at all. I get a black screen for a few seconds (maybe from power going to the video card) and then no display at all. The wired keyboard does not blink during start up like usual but you can tell there is power to it. Usb power works as well. I have no speaker in the case so cant rely on post beeps. I figured it was either the cpu, motherboard, GPU, or ram.so I disconnected everything but those components. I started with ram since I had 4 dimms i started swapping and that didnt fix it. REmoved CMOS battery for 10 mins and that didnt help. I swapped out the GPU for another that I had and that didnt fix it. So I figure its down to the MB or CPU. So I looking for guidence as how to find out which of these two components is bad, is there something else I can perform that would give me a better clue as to which is bad?

I do have a multi-meter if that helps.
