I want a gaming PC that can run all of the new games such as Dying Light, H1Z1, Battlefield 4, Far Cry 4, and other very demanding games on Medium-Ultra settings. I am on a budget of $550-$700. I have a basic knowledge of what it would be like to build a gaming PC and install an OS and drivers (mostly from Youtube videos). I realize how much you save if you build one instead of buying one.

YAS, build your own computer! You don't want to waste money on a pre-built computer. I built my computer at 14 yrs old using youtube so i'm sure you can too. I was also wondering if this builds requires a monitor, os, keyboard etc.

I already own a decent keyboard and mouse. I Would still need to purchase a monitor and OS. (I have a small TV that I could hook up to it via HDMI until I got enough for a good PC monitor)

Yes. Building your own would allow you to have a way better computer for the price.
You said you could use a tv as your monitor temporarily, so would this work?

That seems to be a nice budget build. Would it be able to run Battlefield 4 and Dying light at Medium, High or maybe Ultra? And is that price is without tax and shipping cost?
