Thank you both for such prompt replies!!

Ok so PCIe. Can you recommend a good brand and in your opinions, do you think this is a viable option or should I look for a MOBO with onboard wifi?

Thanks,
Ana

I usually recommend wifi adapters with a removable antenna so you can position it for best signal strength if you are in a dead zone. If you want to keep price down, I have had great success with this USB wifi adapter. It comes with a 8' extension cable if you need to relocate it for a better signal. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833704045

You have 2 x PCIe x1 slots on your board. If one of them is not blocked by a gfx card, and you want to use a wifi card instead, here are the best rated ones according to users at Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100010074%20600014297%20600014354%204814&IsNodeId=1
I haven't personally used any, so I can't vouch for them. However D-link, T-P Link, Intel are good brands.

Thanks for your input. I ordered the TP-LINK TL-WDN4800 after reading great reviews on both Newegg and Amazon. I just received all of my components for the new system last night so I will update this post after I put it all together and see how it works.

Thanks again!
