my computer shuts down with every game except league of legends

Hi everyone. I signed up for this forum hoping i would get some assistance. My computer is confusing me and I'm very sad. When i play league of legends, my computer runs fine,at 60 fps and i never lag. However, when I play games like CS:GO and Unturned (a steam game, similar graphics to minecraft) and free style basketball 2 (another steam game, not high graphics) my computer shuts down after 10 minutes or so. This is very frustrating and I am not sure how to fix it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i have 650 watts psu,

amd radeon hd 6800 series graphics card

amd fx 9590 eight core processor

If it shuts down, you need to test the power supply first.

Try a known good one with the system and test yours in another one with the same power draw. You can also test the voltage with a meter off the pins but that may not give you a full test of how the power supply is working.

Thank you. I am probably going to buy a new power supply as the one i currently have is old. If my computer continues to shut down, is there any thing else you would reccomend?

Currently with Steam, Google Chrome, avast!, CCleaner and open hardware monitor open, I'm at about 45 - 50 degrees Celsius on my CPU (Intel Pentium G3220) and 40 degrees Celsius on my GPU. After either ask on Toms Hardware or Google if the temperatures you're getting on your processor are normal for what you are currently doing.
