I'm looking for a system operator windows(7,8,10) for my first ever custom build gaming!! I finally build one! I installed my old windows 7 but the product key was invaild(I used my windows 7 for my old gaming laptop that used windows vista and since I didn't have windows vista I bought 7. Since my laptop I bought was pre-owned but didn't include vista) I tried installing window 7(failed again) I called in Microsoft ( thinking I could get a phone activations) they said it was a upgrade vision and I couldn't install it. So I wanted to buy a new fresh window for my custom pc. (I installed my old windows 7 and skip the product key. Will this effect my future windows?)

I installed a windows 7 but didn't put the product key in and skip it. Will it effect the installation to my new windows and if you can send a link to specific one I should buy for my custom build pc? Because there are dozen of different verison.

Get one of those and do a clean install. Wipe out whatever is on the drive now.

Whatever files you wish to keep from that drive, copy them elsewhere.
Applications will have to be reinstalled. You can't keep those as they are now.
