Ok, this is new to me. I have a PNY Attache 2.0 64GB flash drive that refuses to work. I begin by loading digital movies onto it to transfer to another computer. It was a lot. There may have been 50 MB of space free when I was done loading.

I took it to my Sony Vaio laptop to empty the drive and it wasn't recognized. The light on the flash drive normally flashes, computer sounds, and then the flashing stops. I noticed that under 'My Computer" when I first plugged it in a 'Removable Disk' flashed but then went away. The light stays on constantly, the computer does sound, but instead of getting the window that pops up to give you options to play media, open files, etc....nothing. This happens on both my Sony Vaio laptop and my Dell desktop.

Here is what I have tried on both above mentioned computers: I talked about the 'My Computer' etc. It shows up in 'Disk Management' but only in the bottom where it breaks down partitions of each piece of media on your computer. It does not show up at the top where it mentions all healthy drives, etc. I have tried assigning a different drive letter. I have tried leaving it plugged in and restarted also complete off then on. Under 'Disk Management' it showed but said 0 capacity no media etc but under properties says "generic usb flash drive.; So I did uninstall every generic usb driver and then scanned for hardware changes where it just loaded back up as generic. I've tried 2.0 and 3.0 usb ports. Tried rolling back drivers. Under command prompt in DOS I tried some 'attribute -s -d s/' thing I found on You Tube...nothing. Also tried under 'diskpart' in DOS where again it recognizes it as a disk but instead of 'online' it says 'no media' and capacity 0 but I tried 'clean' which I found on You Tube as well and nothing.

I'm not interested in recovering the media really. I would just like to be able to use it again!!! Can ANYONE help!!!
