i have 2X8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600MHz (PC3 12800) CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10B
i5-4690k
GTX960 scc.

I am planning to OC my cpu and gpu.
But do i need to oc my RAM as well to get the optimal gain?
I searched online, all RAM oc articles are from 2 years ago. no one does it anymore?
TIA

You have the ability with some motherboards to overclock your ram. Overclocking the ram on your build will yield a minor performance boost. Almost every poster here will recommend you stay at stock speed on the ram. The real performance benefits for you will come when you overclock your cpu.

You can buy DDR3 2400 Mhz RAM if you want faster RAM. You won't be able to do anything with your 1600Mhz RAM.
