Hello everyone,

Recently, I've decided to build a PC with the budget being around $1000.

Here is the permalink: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/TYzTf7

Any advice on what I'm doing right and wrong would be much appreciated. I'm trying to look for something that would last me a while but still able to be upgraded in the future. I'm not sure about overclocking or anything because I am still fairly new to the PC building thing.

This is my first build and any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

The CX series are low quality and you should not be recommending it. Refer to the PSU tier list (link in this reply box) and choose from tier 1 or 2 for gaming system. CX are tier 4 low quality.

Thank you all your input! I was also looking at some windowed cases that I might like to use other than the Corsair 300R that someone had suggested above.

Any recommendations?
