Hey guys,

Last year I build myself a new computer and It hasn't been performing as well as i want it to so im looking to upgrade it, but I'm not sure what part is underperforming and how much of a performance boost I would get from upgrading it

My build :

AMD 8320
NVIDIA GTX 770 4GB Edition
8GB of RAM clocked at 1600MHz
Generic m-ATX motherboard
SSD used for High end games and OS
HHD used for everything else
All air cooled

I'm fairly certain that my CPU is the weakest link but I'm not sure if it's bottlenecking my comp

CPU is the weakest link, but you could help that, some, with a bit of overclocking. What is the exact model of your motherboard? Generic is not exactly useful information. Need to know make/model of your PSU also. A CPU upgrade would require a new motherboard. Don't really recommend getting a new CPU, just yet, with Intel's next gen set to come out early next month. Intel rarely, if ever, lowers prices, but there may be some good clearance deals, that pop up, once Skylake is out. Skylake would require new ram as well.
