Best CPU for PC Gaming

I want to play DayZ and record it do i sm building my own PC but i need some help, which budget CPU is the best for DayZ? im thinking of getting a GeForce GTX 960 or 780 graphics card.

For gaming and recording you want at least an i5 4670 or 4690. You might also want to Try the Xeon E3 1231, it is a Quad Core like the i5 but it has Hyper threading which would come in handy if you are recording and rendering. You can get a decent i5 for about $225 and a Xeon 1231 for about $260 USD.
