the 1:7 is a ratio between your ram to your cpu. although it does not show it in the bios when you select ram speeds that is how you can select between 1600, 1866, 2133, and so on. each one of those Mhz speeds have a ratio to cpu, 1600Mhz is 1:6 ratio.
