I'm using the Cooler Master HAF 912 Advance case, shown below. I have 2 questions.
1) Would it make any difference to temperature if I was to replace the front 200mm fan for 2x 120mm fans?
2) If I was to replace the acrylic side window with another piece of acrylic with no opening, will that affect the temperature in anyway? My current setup includes front 200mm intake fan, top 120mm exhaust and a H80i GT in push/pull config in the rear.

Thanks for your help in advance.

I guess it will depend on whether or not you are having temp issues as it is now. My HAF 912 (like yours) has 2 x 120mm in the front 120mm in the top and the H60 in the rear. Even with the R9-290X furnace, it never gets warm in the case. In the past I had a 200mm front and a 140mm side with 2 x 120mm top and the 120mm rear. It was overkill big time.

Unless you have temp problems with your gfx card, making a solid side panel shouldn't make much difference. Which way do you have your H80i's fan blowing?

My H80i fans are exhaust fans. For some weird reason, my 2x GTX 770 SLI are running 10 degrees hotter than they were before I upgraded to the X99 chipset. They are now averaging 45 degrees on idle, or about 15 degrees above ambient. That's the reason why I'm thinking of putting 2x120mm fans in the front, probably 2 Corsair AF120. But at the same time, I want a cleaner look to the side panel.
