Building 1st gaming PC, need some help looking at a build

Hello, my first time posting here,

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.2305617

I was wondering if this DIY combo from Newegg.ca is

1) compatible
2) is a good set-up for the price (Canadian$$$)

I'm using the PC for mid-high end gaming. Something that will run very nicely today and won't be completely outdated in 5-7 years.

  1. Its Ok but the GTX 750 is a pretty old card I would go with a GTX 960 or 950. What games are you looking to play and at what resolution? What is your budget??
  2. It's a low end setup , I would wait till you can get something better.

    Agreed, especially since you're wanting mid-high end gaming. You're probably looking at about a grand or a bit more. This is just going to hurt you. Also 5-7 years? Mate, that far along a 5960s with quad titan Xs will be out of date....
  4. In my opinion GTX 750 is great;
    i have a GTX 750 2gb; FX 8320; 8GB ram. Untill now i was able to play all games, even Assassin's Creed Unity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwJSZMFn4xI
  5. It Honestly depends on what Resolution you want to play the games at, I think most games at 1080p would not run with a 750
