Hi guys,
I was wondering if this would be a viable substitute for the Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P:

http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Motherboards/AMD+Socket/Socket+AM3%2B+Piledriver+FX/Gigabyte+GA-970A-DS3P+AMD+970+ATX+Motherboard+?productId=57500

I was going to get that board, but now realise that it would be easier to get a board with the 6 sound ports for the speaker system I will be using: Logitech Z506 5.1 Surround Sound:

http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Peripherals/Speakers/5.1/Logitech+Z506+5.1+Surround+Sound+Speakers+-+75W+RMS+?productId=53982

Is this motherboard the same as the one mentioned above, apart that it has 6 audio ports? As in does it have everything the above one has so all the components i've already picked out to fit the above one will also work with this?

Thanks guys.

Your asking if the GA-970A-DS3P is a viable alternative for itself, your link goes to the same model mobo, think you either inserted a wrong link or listed your mobo incorrectly. Regardless the GA-970A-DS3P will work with the CPU, DRAM, GPU and Speaker system you have listed, the GigaByte mobo will support 5.1 and even 7.1 sounds systems, it uses the RT ALC887 audio chipset
