CPU - i7 4790k (not overclocked)
CPU Cooler - Cooler Master 212 EVO
Motherboard - MSI Z97 Gaming 5
GPU - 2x GTX 970 SLI
Case - Corsair 600T

Is the 212 EVO not a good cooler for a SLI build? The temps are great at idle (30-35c) but once I start gaming it can get up to 71c and averages out at 65c. I know those temps are not horrible but they are not ideal. Is there anything I can do with this current cooler to lower temps a bit or should I just get a better cooler?

Solution
Your temperatures are actually very good.
A cpu will not throttle or shut off to prevent damage until it reaches 100c or so.

If you want to try to reduce temperatures a bit, pay attention to drawing in a higher volume if fresh air from the front of your case.
That will probably help your graphics cards the most.
