Okay so, for over 6 months, I have been having this problem when playing a little more graphic-intensive games. My PC just randomly disconnects from the monitor (the screen turns black and says it got nothing connected to it), and everything else disconnects as well instantly or even after a few seconds (up to 5), and afterwards it just remains that way, no auto restart or anything. The coolers can be heard a little louder than usually while in that state. I'm gonna refer to this as "black screen".

This usually happens when I am playing SMITE (only when playing on a higher graphic setting than low) or World of Warcraft (on any graphical setting, and in any place in the game). This happens very rarely or very often, it is completely random. I once played these two games on maximum settings the whole day I never got this "black screen", and in a different day I got 5 "black sreens" in just 2 hours.
When I am playing games like Minecraft, Warcraft III, Counter Strike: GO, Dying Light or even The Witcher 3 (which is a lot more graphical intensive game than Smite or WoW), it never happens.

This problem began a long time ago, when I began playing a game called Nether. It didn't have really that great graphics, it had similar to Smite. But, I could never play that game for more than 30 minutes without getting a "black screen". After a few of these I just stopped playing Nether and uninstalled it, but somehow this error just spread to other games as well (odd, right?).

I tried many things to fix this, from lowering the graphics of the game to performing a clear install of windows (that's how I pretty much reinstalled my Windows 7 like 6 times, afterwards installed windows 8, next windows 8.1, and now windows 10), and still no effect. I tried multiple versions of the GPU drivers, still no effect.

Here are my PC specs:

- Intel core i3-3220 3.3GHz;
- 4GB of RAM
- Gigabyte GTX 650ti 2GB
- Hard Drive of 1TB 7200 RPM
- Windows 10
Not sure what PSU I have, but it is strong enough anyway to sustain these.

And by the way, it is no overheating issue, my PC never goes over 60 degrees.

Idle in-game? Okay so in World of Warcraft:
Idle (in my garrison, in case you know what is that): CPU 53 degrees, GPU 54 degrees
Idle (in a very populated place): 58 CPU, 57 GPU
Loading: 48 - 50 CPU, 52 GPU
And the hard drive & motherboard are 40 - 43 at all times.

The model name of the PSU is: HPE-450-A12S. I bought it from here (so you can see more about it): http://www.emag.ro/sursa-sirtec-eco-ii-hpe-450-a12s-450w-atx-2-3-pfc-activ-hpe-450-a12s-ii/pd/DF5BJBBBM/

I'm sorry buddy, I never found a way to comletely fix that. I ultimately found myself in need of a comletely new computer, mostly because of that issue. I did change my PSU back then with a more powerful one, still no effect. I believe though it had something to do with the GPU, else it wouldn't have anything to do with graphic intensive games.

To reduce the amount times this happened, I ended up using for a while before buying this new PC a program called "MSI Afterburner", through which I always kept my GPU underclocked with around -150 at all times. It is free, so have no worry. Good luck!
