Hey Everyone

So its that time again (5 years later) to build a new rig I just have a question can I use my boot drive from my old computer in the new build? Or is that a bad idea?

New Build specs! Feel free to suggest anything!

NZXT H440 Case
Asrock H97 Pro4
Intel Xeon E3 1231 V3
AMD Radeon 390 4gb
Evga Supernova 750w (80 plus gold)
NZXT Kraken X31
Kingston HyperX Fury 8gb RAM
Kingston 120gb SSD (Boot Drive)
OCZ Agility 60gg SSD (Game Drive)
Seagate 500gb HDD (Storage)

Solution
The physical drive? Yes.
The OS on it? Probably not.

Moving an OS between systems often does not work. And even if it does, it is FAR better to start a new PC with a fresh OS install.

There is actually a direct link to install Windows 10 now. One of the guys from Boredatwork.com on YouTube did a 'demonstration'. As long as it is before the year and you still have you copy reserved, you shouldn't have trouble upgrading from Windows 10. The only suck part would be installing two operating systems back to back. Takes a lot of time and is really annoying.
