Hey,
After updating to Windows 10 I found my HDD to have some faults in the fact that it runs at 100% CONSTANTLY. I have tried fixes that other forum users have provided, and have ultimately thought it to be a faulty HDD.
The average write speed of said HDD is about 400kb/s, usually peaking at around 3mb/s as well as dropping to 0kb/s quite often too, my PC has been lagging quite a bit recently, plus the fans go crazy when under semi-load. Just wondering if my HDD is indeed faulty and if this could be the cause of my loud fans and the freezing up? Below is a screenshot from task manager.
