Hello,

Since my old graphic card has died a few dies ago I'm looking for a new one. The computer I'm using is quite old and could use an upgrade. I don't game as often as I did sometime ago, but still like to do it sometimes and have the oppertunity to get some good FPS.

Specs:

Core™ 2 Quad Q9550 (4x 2833 MHz)
GTX275 (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 275) <-- DEAD
RealPower M620 (620 Watt)
P5Q PRO Turbo (Intel® P45)
HD103UJ (1.000 GB)
4 GB DDR2-1066 Kit (4096 MB)

The budget is around €150,- but this can change depending better choices in a little bit higher range. So the cards that I have in mind are:

MSI Radeon R9 270X Gaming 2GB €164,-
MSI Radeon R7 370 Gaming 2GB €166,-
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 960 G1 Gaming 2GB €220,-

The GTX 960 obviously is the better one, but is it really worth the extra money? Since I think my system would have a few bottlenecks with this card. At this moment I think the R9 270X is my best option but I'm here for some advise so any suggestions are welcome since I haven't been in the business for quite a while :)

Thanks!

Nice! Or you can wait for the 370x which will be coming out later. but if you have to choose between GTX 950Ti or The 370x. Go for the 950Ti! AMDs GPUs have alot more problems with broken drivers and that can be a problem for you.
Good Luck!

I would say go with the 370 because its newer and it perform better than the 270x. If you take the GTX 960 it will be a complete bottleneck.
Overall try to upgrade your system because as you said its and older higher end system.
