Hey everyone, I am a total noob to PC’s. I want to own a pc that can handle 4k games on ultra no problem on one 4k monitor. But, for all of my everyday use, I want to use two 4k monitors (web, excel, word, email, etc.). Is it as easy having have both 4k monitors hooked up to my computer, but when I want to use just want one for gaming I turn the other one off? Sorry for the ignorance and thanks for any help!

Oh no, I mean I use my two monitors for work and everything else ...so I may have browsers up on one monitor and a bunch of other stuff between both monitors and then I may decide to go play and I can just go play on the main display and everything else that was up on the 2nd monitor will either stay or it gets minimized. I was saying if it gets minmized, you can alt tab out and bring it back to the second display if it's monitoring tools or something you want to keep up while you're gaming also.

And yeah, you could just turn the other one off if you wanted too.

Yeah, you should just be able to play on one and keep the other one turned on also, with whatever you have on there. Sometimes though, when I go to play a game it takes what I had on the other screen off and moves it but you can alt tab out of game and move it back.

Thanks for the response Reaper. So sometimes what is on your second display is shown on the primary display? And then you manually move it off? What if I just turn the second monitor off before I play of 4k game?
