which wifi extender works with comcast router

I have comcast triple play service with their modem. I have poor reception in one room and need a wifi extender

CC equipment is low end, mass produced garbage. Do yourself a huge favor, go to mydeviceinfo.Comcast.net, pick out a cable modem and buy a good router. You will save the money you spend on rent for the CC wireless gateway, your range will improve and you will not need extenders. CC techs run out of things to do about range issues after provisioning and factory reset and start "educating customers" about WIFI extenders because they cant say the equipment sucks. All wireless gateways are a convenience that puts all your eggs in one basket. If either the CM part or the WIFI part of the equipment is weak or defective, both must be replaced. If you accept the disadvantages of a Wireless Gateway to reduce clutter, doesn't adding a wifi extender negate that benefit??
