i have installed a 2 gb ram (kingston) on my Intel Corporation DH61WW (LGA1155 CPU 1) and have 3 spare 2gb rams which i connected (only one of them as it has only 2 slots). But when check into speccy it says that it has one occupied slot and one free slot. Is it because my pc can only be connected to one slot at a time? what can i do to connect both of them? One of my ram is kingston and other 3 are micron. What combination do i have to use to make it work ? All help is appreciated. Thanks!

First, anytime you mix DRAM DRAM from different packages, it can be and often is problematic. Best to get all the DRAM you want in a single package. If indeed it server DRAM B-ECC it probably simply isn't compatible with the mobo, believe it calls for unbuffered, non-ECC
