Hard drive not appearing in the OS but works perfectly fine via usb.

I just upgraded my cpu and motherboard to an Asrock z97 extreme3 and an i5 4690k, but one of my hard drives stopped showing up in windows. First it still would show up in like crystal disk info but when it didn't show up anywhere else and switched the sata port, it disappeared completely. When I put it in a HDD dock it works fine, but via sata it doesn't. It also just normally shows up in the BIOS as one of the boot options and in the storage tab. Can someone help me, this is really annoying

There is no port where it worked since it is a new mobo, my other 3 drives work fine.

My apologies.

So it appears the drive works fine; in the BIOS, what are your SATA ports running as on their respective controllers? AHCI? IDE? RAID? Something else?
