I am looking for the best graphic card I can get for $200-250 that will work with specs given:
4th Generation Intel Core i7-4790 Processor (3.60GHz 1600MHz 8MB)
16.0GB PC3-12800 DDR3 SDRAM 1600 MHz
2TB 7200 RPM + 8GB SSHD
I plan on putting in a Corsair CX750 Builder Series ATX 80 PLUS Bronze Certified Power Supply
The motherboard is just a stock Lenovo k450e desktop model fit.
My plan is to buy the cheap K450e with the i7 cpu ($700) because I have the money for it now. Then in a few months, put the 750 watt psu and new graphics card in it. I would buy their higher end model ($1000), but I would rather pump the extra $300 into a good graphics card/750 watt psu than the extra 16 GB DDR3. In other words, the gpu they put in the higher end model is not very good because they spent the money on an extra 16 GB DDR3 which I think is overkill. Anyway, thanks for your input...my sanity depends upon it!
