Hey guys this is only the second system I have ever built, I'm not a total noob but not a full blown expert either.
My specs are:
i7 5820k
msi x99a gaming 7
corsair vengeance lpx 2666mhz
corsair RM 750watt psu
swiftech 240x
gigabyte g1 980ti
intel 330 ssd (old I know lol)
Basically today was the third day of me using the new girl after building her during the week, I was browsing the internet and listening to music at the time and all of a sudden she shut off on me. The msi on-board power button/led light is on. If I flick the psu off wait for a bit flick it back on the blue led's all over the motherboard flicker on then off. Then if I press the power button it turns on for like a second fan's spin light in swiftech reservoir comes on etc. before this happened I am pretty sure that more LED lights on the mobo were on even when the PC wasn't running (maybe the psu can't supply enough juice because it shit itself?). I tried removing ram and disconnecting hard drive etc still no change. I unfortunately don't have a spare psu the only thing I can do is go get it replaced under warranty tomorrow and hope that's the solution. But please if anyone has any suggestions or has any experience with the gear I'm using any advice or assistance would be greater appreciated. This is my first time dropping such a large sum of money on a pc. I live in Australia we get heavily sodomised here lol
