I have just built my pc a few months ago, and everything else is running fine on ultra. However, Borderlands 2 crashed a few times at first, but I was able to play it for hours without it crashing. However, now it crashes within a few minutes. All other games seem to be fine, so I'm wondering if it is something with the physx drivers.

I have a 780, so I'm 10000% sure it can handle it.
CPU is the 4970k at 4 ghz

Any help is appreciated

Full PC Specs please.

Try removing all the overclocks and test it out, also is it only for Borderlands 2 or for other games too.

1. Install CCleaner, clean your windows and uninstall all unwanted programs, also cleanup the startup.
2. Install Malwarebytes, do a full scan with this program. If there are suspicious files do remove them. After the scan you can disable Malwarebytes. (Skip this step if you have a paid anti-virus or anti-malware)
3. Use CPUZ & GPUZ to make sure everything is ok.
4. Run Windows Memory Diagnostic.
5. Go to Device Manager and make sure there are no exclamation symbols or warning symbols that suggest the drivers are not up to date.
6. Use MSI Kombustor and Aida 64 to stress test your CPU and GPU (not at the same time) Make sure your PC is not crashing because of high thermals.
