I began taking an interest into CS:GO about a week ago so I decided I would need just a cheap headset to get me started. I purchased a $7 headset at my local micro center and took it home to try it out. Surprisingly, both the mic and headset are pretty high quality, and I would have no problem using the headset if the things were just not so damn uncomfortable. Being such a cheap headset, it lacked necessary padding around the ears so I can't use it for longer than an hour without my ears aching. Is there anyway? I don't really care about the headset but could I detach the mic somehow because I really like the mic on this?
